A Place\u2026Not Unknown<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

It did not take long; my eyes were closed<\/span><\/p>\n

The world around me vanished<\/span><\/p>\n

I know this place; I was younger then.<\/span><\/p>\n

I need to be there before it\u2019s too late<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The path was simple; except it wasn\u2019t<\/span><\/p>\n

There were strange animals in my path<\/span><\/p>\n

Leopards with two heads and bared sharp teeth<\/span><\/p>\n

Don\u2019t exist, yet there they were<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

They let me pass, following me with knowing eyes<\/span><\/p>\n

I continued on, as more strange beasts appeared<\/span><\/p>\n

My direction was clear, as time meandered on<\/span><\/p>\n

The desire to be home increased<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

All was familiar before and around me<\/span><\/p>\n

The park on the left where I played and watched concerts<\/span><\/p>\n

The stores and White Castle on my right<\/span><\/p>\n

The elevated subway station in front of me<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

But something was wrong. I should not be here<\/span><\/p>\n

It is neither the time nor place of my existence<\/span><\/p>\n

And the creatures, though friendly, scared me<\/span><\/p>\n

I was not who I should be\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I was younger then. I\u2019m much older now<\/span><\/p>\n

I no longer live in this place. I\u2019ve moved on<\/span><\/p>\n

The people that I knew are no longer<\/span><\/p>\n

Yet I am here and need to go home<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

As time would have it, it runs out<\/span><\/p>\n

Sounds of music fill the air<\/span><\/p>\n

Familiar tunes to the older me<\/span><\/p>\n

Music that calls to me, it\u2019s time to wake up<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Dreams are there to tweak your mind<\/span><\/p>\n

To take you places you\u2019ve been before<\/span><\/p>\n

And let imagination rewrite your world\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
