It\u2019s got to be there. I know that is exactly where I left it. I was sitting on the couch watching the TV when I realized I didn\u2019t have it. But where did it go?\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Maybe I should backtrack a bit and try to figure out where it is. Let\u2019s see the last thing I remember is that everything was peaceful. I was planning on doing some writing. I thought I would work on this story that I had begun last week. Of course, the TV was on, so I just decided to relax a bit before I got into writing. And that is where I must have lost it. But it\u2019s not here.<\/span><\/p>\n

Maybe if I walk around the house a bit something will jump out at me and trigger my memory of where it is. Okay, I\u2019m in my kitchen\u2026nothing. I\u2019m in the den\u2026nothing. It wouldn\u2019t be in the bathroom, but I\u2019ll check anyway\u2026nothing. Upstairs bedroom\u2026nothing. Well, this isn\u2019t working.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Maybe if I sit down by the computer. I might have left it there. Nope, not here either. Outside? But I didn\u2019t go outside today. Certainly, all that noise of lawnmowers and crazy drivers racing out there won\u2019t help me remember. I like it quiet when I\u2019m trying to read, write or think.<\/span><\/p>\n

Oh well, back to the couch and the TV. It\u2019s almost game time. Thank god for that. All I get on TV now is \u201cSpecial Bulletins\u201d and the News. Wait a minute\u2026That\u2019s it!<\/span><\/p>\n

I quickly grab the remote and turn off the TV. The sudden silence is deafening. I\u2019m not hearing the bulletins or the news. My mind is clearing up. There it is\u2026my sanity! It\u2019s all coming back to me. Listening to all the things on TV – shootings, COVID, Climate Change, corrupt and ignorant politicians\u2026anyone would lose their sanity.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

You need to turn that stuff off once in a while or else you\u2019ll never find your way back to reality.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Now I can sit down and write, hopefully, something normal. I\u2019m sure no one wants t! hear me rant more about everything that\u2019s wrong in this world and add to the insanity.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Maybe I\u2019ll write about butterflies.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
